Update: Color Butterflies

My husband thinks cephalopods are hilarious so I had to make a pattern inspired after one. It doesn’t look like an octopus at a first glance, but if you stare at it for 3 seconds you can see it.









It looks very winterish/1950's.



I thought to do clothes pins because of another classes project that im working on. Its funny how anything can be a pattern.

so I finally posted something on the same day that i created my patterns!

Line Necklace

I love these colors!

This one is inspired by a family friend named Kim.


This pattern reminds me of my sister Michelle. These are colors that she likes to wear.

Week Three

Oddly enough this reminds me of my dad. He loves the ocean and sea creatures.








Cadbury mini eggs come to mind. They are so good.


Anything with sewing reminds me of my mom.


This pattern looks like it should be in a winter lodge. I really like light blue and red together.













Bamboo is one of my favorite plants. When I was making this pattern i didn't intend for it to resemble bamboo, but I think it does.

Diamonds

This is another geometric pattern. It seems that I almost always lean towards creating geometric patterns.

Week Two

I want to do a set that has to do with the beach and summer










Whenever you go to the San Diego Zoo the first animal that you see are the flamingos. They are funny birds. I love their colors and their awkward appearance. so when I was at the zoo a few weeks ago I decided to do a flamingo pattern.











I'm kinda getting the hang of creating patterns. It's a pretty complicated process, but I'm having fun. Most of them still have a white background. Next week i will have color in the background.
